These Messaging Terms describe the Hangar Direct SMS (text message) notification program. They supplement our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. By providing your mobile number and opting in to SMS notifications, you agree to these Messaging Terms.
Program Description
If you opt in, Hangar Direct will send you SMS text messages related to your account and activity on the platform. These are transactional and conversational alerts — for example, an alert when someone inquires about your hangar listing, a notification when a spot from your waitlist becomes available, lease and payment reminders, new in-app message alerts, and document or compliance reminders. We do not send recurring marketing or promotional text messages through this program.
Opt-In and Consent
SMS notifications are entirely optional. You opt in by entering your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box in your account notification settings. Opting in is never required to use the platform, and you may opt out at any time. Your consent is specific to the mobile number you provide.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your activity on the platform — for instance, how many inquiries your listing receives or how many leases you have. We do not send a fixed number of messages.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Hangar Direct does not charge you for SMS notifications, but your carrier's standard messaging and data charges will apply to messages you send and receive.
How to Opt Out (STOP)
You can cancel SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send a single confirmation message and then stop sending SMS notifications to that number. You can also turn off SMS notifications at any time in your account notification settings. To resume notifications after opting out, opt back in from your settings.

For help with the messaging program, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at info@hangardirect.com. We will respond with information on how to use and manage the program.
Supported Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS notifications are supported on major U.S. mobile carriers, but delivery is subject to carrier availability and conditions and is not guaranteed.
Privacy
Your mobile number and SMS-related information are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share or sell mobile information, including phone numbers collected for SMS, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used solely to deliver the notifications you requested and is shared only with the service providers needed to send those messages on our behalf.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Messaging Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page. Your continued participation in the SMS program after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
